For Release: March 23, 2020

Officials with Central Texas College (CTC) and Texas Tech University-Fredericksburg (TTU) have announced that the offices at the Hill Country University campus in Fredericksburg are closed to the public until further notice and classes will be conducted in an online format for the remainder of the semester.

Students can still email their advisors, who are responding to questions:

fredericksburg@ctcd.edu and anne.arnecke@ttu.edu. All common services are available remotely: advising, financial aid, and bookstore orders.

“We want to help our students succeed in any possible way we can,” said Kristy Kothe, CTC Site Director. “Despite the COVID-19 pandemic, we still want to encourage our students to continue their educational pathway. The health and safety of our students, their families and our community is of upmost importance.”

At this time, face-to-face classes are pending for the summer session at the Fredericksburg Site. However, those may move to the online format depending upon recommendations issued by the Centers for Disease Control.

Summer registration for TTU is open now, and will open April 6th for CTC students. The public can visit the institutional websites for updates: CTCD.EDU and TTU.EDU. Students are also encouraged to check the CTC Hill Country and TTU Fredericksburg Facebook pages for updates on local campus activities.
